Portugal Holiday Outfits 2018

This time last week I was in sunny Portugal relaxing and drinking plenty of sangria's, now it's back to reality and I'm reminiscing about the wonderful holiday and what I wore. Getting vacay ready is one of the things I most look forward to when going on holiday and I knew that Portugal was no exception with it's beautiful floral backdrops. I needed to pack some essentials for beach days and lazing by the pool and also nice evening looks for dinner. And the best part is they are all affordable from the high street!

Primark bikini & sunglasses, Boohoo shorts

Whilst staying in Praia Da Rocha, we always take a day trip to Alvor, a seaside resort and fishing village in the Algarve, Portugal. If you go you're guaranteed picture perfect backdrops, hidden cute streets and the best seafood! For the trip I wore this cute tropical skirt from ASOS (£10) with a New Look white cami plus plenty of accessories.

 Outfit 2

In Portugal we were celebrating my boyfriends mums 60th so for the birthday meal I wore more tropical prints (yes I love them). This time it was an affordable yellow pineapple dress from Boohoo (£20) which comes in three colours. I styled the tropical dress with my round straw bag from South Beach (£12.99) which makes an appearance in lots of my holiday outfits and Primark denim mules (£6).

 Outfit 3

Yet again I can't get enough of pineapple prints with this Missguided off the shoulder top that I actually bought last year. Not only is the design fab but it was perfect for hiding the dreaded sunburn! I paired it with Forever 21 chambray shorts (£15) that are super comfy.

Outfit 4

Affordable fashion brand Boohoo made an appearance again for this beach look, I styled these striped paper bag shorts (£14) along with a burgundy cami (£5) plus not forgetting my new Topshop straw beach bag (£15).

 Outfit 5

I visited Primark for this evening midi dress, but it could also be thrown over a bikini for the day as it's a sheer fabric. The dress comes in many prints and is only £12! The white colour is also great for showing off your holiday tan.

 Outfit 6

The final holiday look featured the hot summer trend - broderie anglaise. Bought from ASOS for just £14, this red dress has plenty of detailing with cute ruffles and a cold shoulder cut. I styled it with white mules from H&M and my favourite new straw bag.

Holiday Accessories

Having only taken hand luggage, unfortunately I couldn't fit too many handbags, shoes or hats in my suitcase (believe me I tried) but I did manage some straw accessories which are really on trend right now. This included a beach bag (Topshop) and a round bag for the evening (South Beach). Plus my straw hat from Ale-hop a local accessorises store in Portugal.

Which is your favourite holiday outfit?
