Burgundy is back

This Autumn I have seen the colour burgundy everywhere and I not only love this Great Plains top for the colour but also the sparkly collar it's the perfect Christmas top! (£50)

I styled it with a Sandwich Clothing pleated black skirt (£89) and dark berry boots (£149) both from Gemini woman

I also wore a Pia Rossini floppy hat (£29), I love this style of hat it actually suits my face

It's such a great outfit as I can wear it from day to night by adding some heels! I felt very 1940s

Oxford Adventure

Yesterday me and the boyfriend spent the day in Oxford we went to a French restaurant Pierre Victoire which was one of the best restaurants I'd ever been to definitely recommend the duck! And the best of it was they do 2 courses for just £9!

Then we went shopping my OOTD was my New Look dogtooth coat (which I got last winter in the sale it never goes out of fashion) Miss Selfridge crop top and River Island leather tube pants.

First stop was River Island where I got this leopard stripe chiffon back jumper £15 which I love because I can rock it over a pair of leather look leggings!

Then I went to Primark which I haven't been too for ages, they had lots in the sale so I got two floral blouses (£5 each) floral open shoulder dress (£5) and check scarf (£4) and gloves (£3)

I love blouses with collar because I can wear them under my plain knit jumpers.

My final stop was H&M as I'd seen this brown skirt on the TV advert for £7.99 which is a bargain, it had sold out in my size online but they had it in store lucky enough! Can't wait to wear it for a night out.

I'll be styling all these items on my blog soon!

Autumn Blues

Even though i've called this autumn blues I'm not sick of autumn yet it's the best month by far! Yesterday there was no rain so we took a walk into town and explored by the river, all the leaves had fallen of the trees it was so pretty! I love that I live in such a picturescue place & obviously it was perfect for taking blog photos! These are my favourite photos by far.

I styled my Florence & Fred floral leggings (£6) with a cream H&M blouse (£8) & gold rope necklace (£2) river island navy cardigan (£15) and primark brogue boots (£12)

I love this outfit it's so comfy there's nothing better than a warm cosy cardigan on autumn days!

Hope you are all having a fab weekend! Follow me on bloglovin

Hobbs Hot List

Before I started working at Gemini Woman I had heard of Hobbs but back when I was a student I could never afford them but now a quality piece now and again only hurts the bank balance a tiny bit... they design such beautiful pieces and they are a truly British brand representing our country in design. Kate Middleton Duchess of Cambridge is a massive fan.

To style Hobbs in the day I would wear the Doreen Shirt (£79) tucked in the navy Holly A-Line Skirt (£99) with knee high Kennel and Schmenger blues suede long flat boot (£235) which are an investment boot to say the least. Throw on the French Connection Camila Cross Body Bag and your ready for the day ahead!

For a night out with the girls I would wear Hobbs Josie Sweater (£89) tucked in the Alina Skirt (£119) who doesn't love blue and leopard print together! To add some height the patent Ava Court £149.00 & to bring it altogether the signature clutch (£99)

Day Out in Leamington Spa

On Thursday I had a day off work so me and the boyfriend took a drive to Leamington Spa which is not far from where we live it's such a lovely place it reminds me of London with its confusing streets and white buildings.

Even though it was a rainy day it must of knew I wanted to take photos as it brightened up just as we arrived at Jephson gardens with its glasshouse and fountains it was the perfect location for blog photos!

I wore my new Florence and Fred Paisley skirt (£4) anyone who knows me knows how much I love paisley print so this was a quick decision to buy! I tucked in a H&M denim shirt, New Look necklace (£4) and wore navy tights with my Primark brogue boots (£12)

The beautiful flowers inside the glasshouse

While in Leamington we ate at the Jamaican food chain turtle bay I had a pulled pork wrap with fries & cocktails were 2 for 1.

The knitted dress

Now autumn has definitely arrived there's nothing more I love than wearing a knitted dress with tights and ankle boots. This dress is from Dari meya which is a really cute label that started in 2003 I got this from the clothes show Birmingham for just £10! It has lovely lace detailing on it.

I wore the dress with grey tights, red herring leather ankle boots & my Steve Madden tan bag from TkMaxx.

Happy Autumn!

Styling Petit Bateau Stripes

Since August at Gemini Woman we have been selling french brand Petit Bateau and I have fell in love with the striped nautical collection. They offer a wide range of tees, sweatshirts, skirts and cute dresses who says you can't wear stripes all year round?!

I styled my favourite petit bateau sweatshirt (£60) with french connection jeans (£60), red Bessie bag and sandwich clothing boots (£149)

Wine colour is going to be a massive trend for autumn and I'm absolutely loving the colour!
