White is one of those colours that you need to wear wisely especially if you're going to be around pets, food or drink and if you're rather clumsy (like me) you're guaranteed to drop something down you. On this occasion I decided to chance it because I was off to the Billesley Manor gin festival which is a rather fancy hotel in Stratford Upon Avon and I wanted to take lots of outfit photos!
Gone is the little black dress it's now all about the little white dress because it's a really versatile, brighter and simpler option for summer and a bonus is you can really show off that summer tan against the clean and crisp white fabric. You will always find that white dresses also come in various styles on the high street including linen, broderie anglaise, polka dot, mini, midi and maxi lengths the list goes on and on. What I loved most about this Knot Front Midi Skater Dress from Boohoo (£18 full price, £13.50 with discount) is not only the price but the super flattering fit for my petite frame. Plus I had the cutest accessories to pair with this white dress!
The white round oval sunglasses I wore were also a bargain from Boohoo at just £5, I didn't think they would suit my face when they came but I thought they were so much fun I had to pair them with this dress! Along with these I wore my Dorothy Perkins monochrome sandals and a cute H&M straw bag.

Have you purchased a white dress for summer?
