Glamping in Wales

My work recently took us glamping to a little village in Wales called Felindre close to Hay On Wye. I had never been glamping before only camping when I was a kid but this was going to be a bit more sophisticated with showers, a little kitchen, a bed and a massive tipi!

Summer Trend: Off the Shoulder

This summer it's all about baring the shoulders with off the shoulder tops, dresses and playsuits. With a slight bohemian feel this summer trend was seen at Paul & Joe, Chloe and Michael Kors SS16 shows. It also gets extra points for being flattering on any size. My wardrobe is full of off the shoulder tops already and I am sure I will be adding to my collection pretty soon.

Outfit 1 - Off the shoulder dress

It's hard to choose between the navy and the white with these Esprit dresses. They both go with everything and have a girly, beach vibe about them. Esprit is a fairly new brand on my radar lately and I love there effortless and easy going style and with delivery only 0.99p who can resist a purchase.

Outfit 2 - Off the shoulder top

Taking inspiration from one of my fashion idols Olivia Palermo this off the shoulder denim blouse from Esprit would be perfect paired with more denim - white jeans (we're forgetting the denim rules). I have chosen RIver Island because they always fit nice.

Outfit 3 - Off the shoulder playsuit

Matching the colour of my eyes with this outfit and blue just automatically screams summer - the sky, the beach you get my point and what better way to show your legs and shoulders off at the same time than in a playsuit. The print is refreshing and styling it with simple sandals (Forever 21) and a blue bag (accessorize) makes it a lovely outfit for a catch up with friends or shopping.

PS how fashionable is this wallpaper from Esprit? YES they sell homeware too!

Have you dared to bare with the "off the shoulder" trend yet?

Summer Wedding Inspiration

Over the glorious sunny weekend I travelled south to the pretty village of Biggleswade for my friends wedding. She was the first friend I made at university and my housemate (those were the days) so I was so excited to see her tie the knot!

For the day I wore an ASOS Skater Dress in Blue Floral with Pleat Detail with New Look black wedges. The previous wedding I went to I wore a floral ASOS dress too they are always my first stop when looking for an outfit. They even have a wedding shop here.

I was quite proud that I styled my hair myself a backcomb with curls.

The reception was held at Shuttleworth house a grade II listed building built in 1875 set in 500 acres of land a truly stunning piece of architecture. Popular for weddings and for filming tv dramas and documentaries.

Do you have any weddings this year?

Bright Blue Stripes

The sun is finally shining in Stratford and I can finally wear some brighter clothes!

When I purchased this La Redoute striped tunic I didn't even realise I had the perfect outfit in the making with my ASOS blue jeans and coral sandals.

Yes I have to tell myself that I already own lots of striped tops but this one has such summery colours I couldn't resist and for £9 too with a cheeky discount. They have a great sale on at the moment too.

Will you be wearing brights or stripes or even both this summer?
