My 2016 Dream Destination - Thailand

2016 has only just started but I am already dreaming of sunshine, cocktails, beaches and dreamy food. Who wants to stay in rainy cold England not me! So the lovely people at icelolly.com are giving bloggers the chance to win £1000 towards their dream 2016 holiday and an Olympus PEN E-PL7 Camera so you can take lots of snaps! All you have to do is tell them your dream destination as simple as that! (view the competition rules here)

I love travelling and I am quite fortunate that I have ticked a few of my bucket list NEW YORK twice, LAS VEGAS last year for my friends wedding and I am going to the ICE HOTEL in SWEDEN in February to see the northern lights so that's another one ticked off but I have more! I knew I should of been an air hostess...

My dream destination for 2016 is THAILAND
T for Thai Food
H for Hot Weather
A for Asia
I for Islands
L for Loi krathong
A for Andaman coast
N for Nong Nooch
D for Damnoen Saduak.

Me and my boyfriend have always talked about going the main reasons are the culture and the food. Yes we like to eat a lot! We have sat watching The Hairy Bikers' Asian Adventure (Episode 2) wishing we were there and now we might have the chance.

These pictures say it all:

Sunrise Beach, Ko Lipe

Floating Market

Temple - Wat Arun

Khao Yai National Park

Wat Rong Khun

Grey & Navy

In 2015 or should I say last year now I introduced you to a brand called DressLink on my blog here. They are a Korean website that sell very inexpensive clothing & one of the items I had sent me was this Grey & Navy cardigan style jacket. (£4.31)

It's quite a fitted style, surprisingly thick fabric & I love the colour blocking print.

I styled it with a Club L navy cami, Warehouse cropped jeans & New Look black boots.

This outfit is perfect for a casual dinner very understated but fashionable.

Have you ever bought from DressLink?

Wardrobe Essential: Denim Skirt

You know when you put an outfit together and think I must blog about this? Well this is one of them and I'm lucky that it was fairly dry at the weekend to shoot at this location round the corner from where I live!

For these pictures I wore my favourite new wardrobe essential: ASOS a line denim skirt which was only £7 my top tip is buy versatile summer pieces in the winter it's a lot cheaper! Denim skirts are a classic and since the 70s trend hit the high street with a bang they are everywhere, I particularly love the button detailing down the middle.

I have previously worn a different style of denim skirt in this post here:

Continuing with the 70s colours I styled it with a red ochre sleeveless roll neck top (also from ASOS) which is also another big trend so dig them roll necks out now! My fluffy camel cardigan from Primark compliments all the colours well too and you can never have enough cardigans when it is this cold!

Boots: Daisy Street

I am already planning what to wear with my denim skirt for Spring/Summer! What will you be wearing with yours?

Pop your collar

I recently bought a couple of items from La Redoute and since then I have fell in love with the brand. Having always admired French Fashion since visiting Paris three times they really capture this in their clothing. The best thing of all they have had a sale since December and anyone who knows me knows I love a bargain.

The first item I bought was this navy collared jumper £6. I styled it with a Primark leather look skirt, Daisy Street ankle boots & H&M bag £3

The second item is another collared top from La Redoute but a t-shirt (£13.30) this time with embellishment. I styled this with a Matalan white cardigan (previously worn here) which is so warm and snuggly, Bershka jeans (£10) and the boots again I haven't taken them off my feet since I had them for Christmas!

Obviously the theme recurring in this post is peter pan collars one of my favourite styles they just look so cute!

Have you every bought anything from La Redoute?
