Bargains of the Week - Sale Picks

Today's bargains of the week is dedicated to my favourite word - SALE if I see a newsletter or I am in a shop I literally jump at the chance to see what is on offer sad I know...

ASOS are currently having a sale with up to 50% off just in time for my holiday to Budapest on Saturday! I have bought all 3 of these dresses.

The first dress has unfortunately sold out already! The back has a really pretty square detailing and the print is gorgeous.

The plunge midi dress is quite stretchy fabric so I thought it was going to be quite clingy but it looks lovely on and because it's petite like me the length is perfect.

Like the little black dress I now have a little lace dress in a lovely green hue.

Forever 21 have started their up to 50% sale. These three top picks are bang on trend with the colour khaki and off the shoulder detailing.

A Line Skirt £5.99
Floral Open Shoulder Top  £7.99
Green Halterneck Jumpsuit £9.99

Mango also have up to 50% off! Again the shoulder detailing and floral patterns are an instant win this Summer.

Floral Flowy Shorts £9.99
Au Revoir Top £7.99
Shoulder Detail Top £9.99

If you haven't heard of Stradivarius before they are owned by Zara & most of their stores are abroad but you can shop online too! I have picked out mostly pastel colours - lemons and blues that look lovely in the summer sun.

Eroica Britannia 2016

For the second year, I attended cycling festival Eroica Britannia in Bakewell, Derbyshire with my good friends at Pashley Cycles. This year was somewhat muddy compared to the previous but that didn't stop the festival spirit! The great thing about this family festival is that there's something for everyone food, fashion, music, dancing & of course CYCLING!

The Pashley Stand with their pretty bikes on display. Each one is handmade in stratford upon avon (my home town) and this year was truly special because it is their 90th Birthday so there were two special edition bikes on display. Many of you may not know this but they sell clothing and accessories too!

For fashionistas like myself it is vintage heaven with an array of stalls & there is even a best dressed male and female contest.

The bikes even get a pretty, floral makeover.

For foodies there is all the food you could want chips, hot dogs, scotch eggs & even pies I purchased one from the Higgidy Pie stand it was incredible!

(Can you see the mud?!)

My outfits

For this very "handsome" weekend I picked out many outfits for all different types of British weather but I eventually decided on a heart print blouse with a spotty skirt for the Saturday which I featured in my bargain post a couple of weeks ago here. Because of the mud I had to swap my ballet flats for my Radley wellies and my Hobbs coat made an appearance incase it rained.

On the Sunday I opted for a blue collar ornate dress from everything 5 pounds with my La Redoute denim jacket and Primark flats.

Have you even been to Eroica Britannia?

Elephant prints have been a big trend especially for festival looks I have a pair of monochrome elephant print shorts in my wardrobe & I love them.

Matalan design the most amazing shoes and these wedges have just stepped out of the 70s. Team with a denim dress and your ready to go.

I love the cutout detailing on this bag and monchrome aswell makes it bang on trend.

New Look Tan Fringe Shorts £5
Fringing and tan are too trends we have seen a lot over summer and these are a bargain at £5.

Day Out at Ragley Hall

On Saturday me and the boyfriend had tickets to the Great British Food Festival at Ragley Hall anything with the word food in it & I'm there! But I was also really excited to see the famous Ragley hall which is about 15 minutes from my home.

Designed in 1680 by Robert Hooke, it remains the family home of the Marquess and Marchioness of Hertford. They hold many events throughout the year and there is lots to do for kids including a maze!

I explored the stunning park and gardens of Ragley Hall which covers 400 acres where I came across beautiful flowers and even a peacock. If your ever in the area it's a must see!

My OOTD

As I was visiting such a beautiful place I knew a lovely outfit was needed. I chose a striped midi skirt from Forever 21 & navy off the shoulder top & pumps from H&M. Stripes, midi skirts and off the shoulder tops are currently massive fashion trends, I have expressed my love for the off the shoulder trend in a previous post here.

Have you ever visited Ragley Hall? Let me know what you think of my outfit.

I love jumpsuits they are really sophisticated for a night out with the girls this one comes in 3 colours and for £5 it's a no brainer.

Have you heard of the brand self portrait? They design the most beautiful dresses but when your on a high street budget who can afford £240 can you guess which one is high street? Me neither I'll give you a clue it's the one on the left its hard to tell the difference right?

Missguided Burgundy Lace Dress £10

Missguided are my go to for evening wear and if you look hard enough you can find some real bargains.

Superdry black espadrilles £11.99

Espadrilles are a really big trend in the summer months and these crochet look ones by Superdry look fashionable aswell as comfy. Who said fashion is pain?!

My own bargain of the week is from a charity shop in Stratford I was searching for some vintage style pieces & came across this burgundy spotty skirt for £4 it even has shell buttons! Cute!
