Tropical Floral Culottes

The unexpected Indian Summer hit us this weekend so a perfect opportunity to wear my new culottes from Red Herring at Debenhams (£9) nothing shouts summer like tropical & florals!

The culotte trend has cemented itself as the silhouette of the season seen on the likes of Victoria Beckham & Gigi Hadid. They're perfect for when your not sure if it's warm enough to bare the whole leg. I was a bit unsure at first of how they would suit me being that I'm short but I love them! Comfy, colourful & chic...

I styled them with a royal blue cami from Primark & New Look coral wedges. But with this colourful print the combinations for tops to wear are endless!

How have you worn your culottes this Summer?

LFW SS16

London Fashion Week SS16 has been and gone once again unfortunately I didn't get to attend any shows but that's where social media comes in! I think London was quite fun this year and the designs are making me want summer back now! I can't believe we are officially in AUTUMN already I better start shopping...

I have put together my favourite pieces and shows for you. Believe me I could of added a whole lot more!

Holly Fulton remodelled 70s chic with retro prints and swirly motifs a very fun collection and I don't know about you but I look a shift dress there was plenty to be had. Did you notice the hair sticking up a little? This is the new hair trend apparently the "woken up" look.

Orla kiely models strutted their stuff on a miniature gold course, inspired by the stepford wives it was entitled "It's a Birdie". The collection channeled 70s to a tee with pretty separates in her signature prints and hues - bright yellow, pastel pink, and lilac.

Bora Aksu colourful collection was inspired by summers spent in Turkey as a child. The ethereal silhouettes, organza and intricate detailing were simply stunning.

I have to admit Alice Temperley was my favourite show of all focusing on a palette of yellow, dusty pink, blues and greens and pretty embroidery. The outfits flowed beautifully & were loose-fitting perfect for the summer heat.

Topshop is the only high street brand at LFW and according to them we will be wearing floral dresses, red lips, leopard print & show stopping gowns with added fur. I think the FROW caused more of a stir than the actual show.

The night before the Burberry show you could preview the beautiful collection on snapchat which is super cool right?!

I couldn't take my eyes of the black and gold combined with lace & military detailing. For shoes open caged heels & erm pool slides why the hell not?! One of the items that caused the most attention a Backpack yep you heard me

Issa was inspired by geometric patterns and the dresses were full of bold prints. The white   outfits with cutwork & crochet stood out the most to me. I think the collection is totally wearable and I'm sure the high street will design their "version".

Anya Hindmarch in one word quirky the designs were all about graphic chevron, leotards, sweatshirts and novelty bags even throwing in boots and natwest logos. The catwalk came alive with mirrors!

Which was your favourite show?

Khaki & Lace

Now were transitioning into Autumn the colours on the high street are changing and khaki is one colour that is more apparent and one I love. Normally associated with the military or safari trend I'm all about pairing it with neutral colours but if you want to make a bold statement wear it head to toe in the form of a jumpsuit or maxi dress.

Styling khaki with this gorgeous lace blouse from Missguided (£8) although fragile material it looks expensive and brings a bit of femininity to the khaki skirt.

The skirt was only £5 from Dorothy Perkins an A Line style which is really starting to make a come back with the 70s trend. A khaki skirt is really versatile I could wear it with a blouse for work or on a night out like above.

The Yumi clutch I have had for a while, combining croc and snakeskin along with the H&M flats they are not the most comfortable but hey fashion is pain...

Will you be transitioning khaki into your AW wardrobe?

Denim Skirt & White Shirt

It appears like summer is coming back for at least a week anyway so I grabbed my new Emily Embroidered Denim Skater Skirt from Boohoo (£6) from the wardrobe and styled it with a white Warehouse shirt and New Look Lace Heels.

When you think of denim and white there are endless combinations - denim shorts and a white tee, dungarees and a white shirt or what about going all out with denim on denim - be FEARLESS!

I love a crisp white shirt (except when eating I am very clumsy haha) the ultimate wardrobe staple for all months of the year. This one a sale bargain of course from ASOS doesn't need accessorising with a necklace because of the cute collar which I can alternatively pair under a cosy jumper for Autumn.

The skater style skirt has a pretty folk embroidered pattern along the hem. When I first spotted this Boohoo skirt on the website I couldn't believe the price and the quality is fab too.

These New Look SHOES are literally my new fav they are so pretty and elegant. I just need  a lovely evening out to parade around in them *hint hint*
