Hunkemöller is a brand I have worked with on Call Me Liz before reviewing one of their gorgeous bras but this time they kindly gifted me a swimsuit to review from their new swimwear collection with international topmodel and Hunkemöller ambassador Doutzen Kroes. The stunning swimwear collection is inspired by nature and the tropical climate of Brazil and the rest of Latin America. All of the bikinis, swimsuits, beach clothing and accessories that Doutzen has designed have a jungle theme with plenty of animal prints, rain drops and textures bringing to life her passion for nature.
Doutzen Khaki Jungle Swimsuit Review
Doutzen's swimwear collection comes just in time for the holiday season where many of us women are getting our bikini bodies in shape and trying to find that perfect bikini/swimsuit that suits our body type or style. I prefer swimsuits over bikinis since I've got into my later twenties because they make me feel so much more chic and stylish plus they can be super flattering. I can accessorise a swimsuit more with either a beach kimono or denim shorts if I'm popping to the beach bar.
Overall the main factor for me when buying swimwear is that I feel good in it on the beach and this stunning Khaki Jungle Swimsuit (£48) does just that. It may be on the pricier side but not only is the quality fab but it has lots of detailing which I love! The lace-up details on the sides, texture all over and an open back and plunge neckline make it a very unique and eye-catching piece of swimwear. Comfort wise the straps over the back can be adjusted to fit my body perfectly, I always recommend going a size up in swimwear so it doesn't feel too tight. I styled the khaki swimsuit with a palm print kimono from boohoo, now where's the beach?!
