We've all heard of brunch but the "newish" trend inspired by America and now taking over UK cities including London is Bottomless Brunch. So last weekend I planned a trip to London to see my friend Hannah who lives there and we booked my first ever bottomless brunch (yes I know where have I been doing with my life?). We decided to go to Aster Restaurant and Cafe in Victoria, London because she has been before and said it was amazing! As soon as I saw the floral decorations on the door I was keen to get inside and experience it for myself.
Bottomless Brunch
Once we sat down we were given a menu with all the food options (which have a nordic/french influence) including bottomless brunch which you can only have on Saturdays and Sundays. The bottomless brunch itself costs £21 for two courses or three courses for £26 then you can add on unlimited bubbles for two hours for £17 which I think is super good value! I have paid that for one glass of wine in London before. A 12.5% tip is also added to the bill.
For my first course I selected the egg florentine which was made up of kale, poached eggs, sweet rye and truffle hollandaise. For after I had to try the chocolate chip brownie with caramel ice cream, it tasted as good as it looks! Along with the delicious food and unlimited prosecco there is a live DJ on Saturday & Sunday to get you in the party mood!
Instagrammable Decor
Inside Aster, I would say the decor is rather sophisticated and floral. There are two floors for dining, we sat on the top floor which has a wall of glass windows letting lots of light pour in, lots of beautiful flowers, modern art and rust looking seating. Downstairs there is also a floral wall which of course I had to get a picture by.
Have you ever been to ASTER? Or a bottomless brunch?
