My Favourite TV Shows

Since I was a teenager I have always loved watching TV whether it be soaps, comedies or girly programs there's nothing better than getting home from work lying on the couch and binge watching your favourite TV programs! Looking back some of my favourite have been mainly from America including The OC, Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill but one of my guilty pleasures was actually Australian soap Home and Away.

To find the latest TV shows I usually search on Google or use IMDB to see what is trending and anything Netflix show is always pretty amazing. Although finding a great show is my first priority I think you need a great TV to have the best viewing experience. I currently own a 4K resolution TV like the Ultra HD 4K TV Panasonic for example. This means the TV show your watching will have so much detail and depth to it because the resolution is four times higher than Full HD.

My Top 10 Favourite TV Shows include:

Modern Family

With a star studded cast, Modern Family portrays how real families are today but with lots of outrageous comedy that most of the time we can all relate to. For me the way Haley and Alex are with each other reminds me of growing up with a sister myself - a lot of arguing and trying to outdo each other. Also look out for the cute dog called Stella!

Brooklyn Nine Nine

Not only is one of my favourite actors Andy Samburg in this hit comedy but the rest of the cast are incredible funny too all with their own unique personalities. The show is centred around a crazy group of detectives and their captain in the 99th Precinct of the New York City Police Department in Brooklyn. Season 4 kicked off in September.

Hunted

A reality TV program based in the UK where pretend fugitives go on the run for a chance to win £100,000 but there is a team of expert hunters trying to track them down and catch them. The suspense of the program leaves you at the edge of your seat and I have my fingers crossed that the two girls will win.

The Big Bang Theory

If you have never watch big bang theory you haven't lived. One of the best comedies on TV at the moment it follows the lives of geeky guys and their wives/girlfriends. Doctor Sheldon Cooper makes the show for me with his witty sayings "Don't you think if I was wrong I'd know it" and his annoying personality that drives his friends mad.

Pretty Little Liars

I have only just started watching this teen drama from America which is actually based on a series of novels by Sara Shepard and I am already hooked. The plot is centred around four friends whose friend goes missing and over time they drift apart. But years later they receive anonymous text messages from "A" threatening to expose all their secrets! If you loved gossip girl then this is the show for you.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Only available on Netflix this American comedy is created by the amazing Tina Fey and as soon as I read that I knew I was going to be watching a hit show. The main character Kimmy Schmidt is recued from a cult after 15 years and moves to New York to try and get her life back. She ends up moving in with a gay broadway actor Titus who is just fabulous and be warned you will find yourself singing along to the theme tune every week!

Impractical Jokers

A hidden camera show featuring four lifelong friends challenging each other to take part in embarrassing and hilarious dares and the one who loses the most dares at the end of the episode has to complete an even bigger dare! Their friendship and personalities really shine through on this show and I am gutted that I missed out on tickets to see them in the UK.

The Good Place

This new TV show debuted in September starring movie star Kristin Bell who accidently ends up in heaven instead of hell. To stay in heaven she needs to become a good person. You may recognise Jameela Jamil usually presenting TV and radio shows in the UK in this comedy who I must say is a great actress.

The Catch

The Catch stars a successful private investigator who specialises in exposing fraud but it ends up happening in her own life when she is conned by her fiancé. The thriller has been renewed for a second season which I'm super pleased about, if you enjoy romance and action this is the TV show for you.

Game of Thrones

Last but not least is the phenomenon that is Game of Thrones. I didn't watch this from the beginning but one weekend me and boyfriend watched one episode then we were hooked and ended up watching all the seasons as quick as we could. There is no words to describe how amazing this show is it has to be on your must watch list.
