Supermarket Fashion

When I go food shopping you will always find me wondering off towards the clothes section to my boyfriends dismay but what's a girl to do when she's a shopaholic? Most of the leading supermarkets now including Tesco's with their Florence and Fred range and Sainsbury's with their TU range stock the latest fashion trends at affordable prices which is another bonus! So when I popped into my local Aldi store the other day I didn't expect to see one of their special buys being a burgundy check skirt for just £10. Not only this they had faux fur gilet's (£14.99), Chelsea boots (£14.99) and a felt hat (£7.99). I had to stop myself from buying the whole range! I have seen Aldi sell basics and skiing clothing before but not fashionable clothes like this I can't wait to see what clothing they design in the future.

The checked skirt itself is fully lined, super soft and made with 5% wool may I add. A fashion bargain at it's best and also available in navy. When thinking of what to style with the skirt I immediately remembered I purchased a pink silky blouse (£6) from Primark that I knew would compliment the burgundy skirt and I have burgundy ankle boots from Dorothy Perkins last year. And because its AW16 I had to throw in one of the biggest trends of the season - a suede jacket from La Redoute. (Similar here)

The Complete Look

Taking these photo's with my friend Hannah (Facebook page here) made me feel very Autumnal - Stratford upon Avon has some beautiful scenery.

Have you purchased clothing from your local Supermarket before?

  14. I love your choice of outfits, I guess I need to shop more at Tesco's but as I detest the mad chaotic rush of food shopping at Aldi, I never get a chance to look round the clothes. I definitely need to refresh my autumn outfit, I like that burgundy skirt, but also need new jacket, and this one seem like the perfect.
