There's nothing better than having a girly night in with your best friends. I remember growing up my sister would have lots of her friends over and I was always so jealous so I definitely made up for it when I grew up! Being only 26, I still love a night out, but with winter season just around the corner, it always feels like the perfect time to plan a night in with my friends to unwind and enjoy a few laughs. The best part is I don't have to wear any makeup, style my hair and I get to wear my comfy pyjamas! But of course don't forget the following sleepover essentials as well!
Scented Candles
Scented Candles
One of the top essentials for the ultimate girls night in, has to be candles which I seem to always be buying for my home, they really give your home that spa feel and make it smell amazing for when your friends arrive. My favourite in particular are from award winning British beauty brand Cowshed who have the most beautiful scented candles made from 100% natural soy wax and scents that will help to enhance your mood.
Pyjamas/Onesie
Even when you’re just lounging around with your friends, it's nice to have some cute but cosy pyjamas or onesies to keep you warm in the colder months. I love shopping at Primark for my pyjamas they have so many fashionable designs!
Food and Drinks
If you're like me and love your food then this is at the top of your list. If you're organising the girls night in then food can be a lot of hassle but that's where food apps and takeaways come in, get hot food delivered straight to your door making it easier and much quicker to just order in whatever your friends fancy. I know my favourite is always Chinese! Whilst you're waiting for your takeaway why not snack on some crisps, popcorn and the all important chocolate!

For drinks, it doesn't have to be alcohol but it always helps after a long week at work. Maybe make it into a challenge and see who can shake up the best mocktails or cocktails.
Watch a Romantic Comedy
Once you're fed and watered it's time to get cosy on the sofa and watch your favourite romantic comedy. A night in with the girls wouldn't be the same without a film that gives you the good feel factor and lets you have a good giggle with your friends. Some of my favourites include what women want, 10 things I hate about you, clueless and loads more which you can probably find on Netflix.
Pampering
Why not use your girls night in as an excuse to indulging in your favourite beauty treatments? I think it's one of the best ways to recharge and reboot and you’ll feel like you’re at the spa as you give each other manicures, plait each others hair and relax in your face masks. You could even take a silly selfie!
