If you have a Christmas Party planned but have no idea what to wear let alone what accessories to choose then you've come to the right blog. Adding a few accessories such as delectable diamonds, fancy footwear or a beautiful bag can give your party outfit an entirely new look and I'm here to share some of my favourite accessories and styling tips with you.

Shine bright like a diamond
1. 9ct White Gold Diamond Open Flower Earrings £79.95
2. 9ct White Gold Pave Set Diamond Heart Pendant And Chain £79.95
3. F.Hinds 9ct Gold Diamond Solitaire Earrings £99.95
(All F.Hinds)

The festive season is the perfect time to let your jewellery shine after all the
saying goes diamonds are a girls best friend. Of course diamonds aren't something you impulse buy because of the price tag but they are an investment piece that can be worn every party season year after year. If you're still waiting on the other half to surprise you with diamonds, there's nothing wrong with treating yourself once in a while, we are independent women after all.

Before purchasing you want to do your research so you feel confident in your choice of diamonds, everyone has a different style, you may want something dainty, something that draws attention or a certain coloured stone.

Whatever you choose its guaranteed that a diamond necklace, bracelet or earrings or even wear all three will really make your outfit stand out, especially if your outfit is plain and simple. But if you're not ready to splash out on some diamonds then maybe put them on your Christmas list or check out F.Hinds other pieces of beautiful jewellery including white gold and pearls.

Step out in heels
1. Boohoo sequin block heel £22
2. Simmi black faux fur heels £32
3. Public Desire nude pearl heels £29.99

When it comes to Christmas we are spoilt for choice with shoes but your party look is not compete without a pair of dazzling heels, whether your dress is long or short they can still be seen. For me comfort is key and I will be definitely try to find some heels that are not too high as I don't want them to keep me off the dance floor. When you're choosing your party dress only go for a contrast pair of heels if you're wearing colours like navy, green or red but if you opt for a black dress there are a vast amount of colours to choose from including black itself. Some shoe trends that spring to mind when I think of a party are velvet, metallic, sparkles and embellishment.

The Chic Clutch bag
1. Quiz Clothing silver clutch £14.99
2. Topshop metallic clutch £16
3. Accessorize burgundy velvet bag £14

The final part of the party look is the clutch bag, which you really want to match the shoes in some way. If you're going dancing you’ll need a bag you can carry with a strap or chain and one that fits all your essentials (phone, keys, money and make-up). If you have to spend money on a new bag choose a classic colour that can be worn with multiple party looks such as nude, grey or black.

  3. Gosh, lots of sparkly accessories that are perfect for the Christmas season. I'm not a girly girl, so none of those would be on my list. I rend to stick to trousers and a shirt or if it is really posh a vintage shirt dress. I love seeing what other people enjoy though, so it was fun seeing your ideas.

  8. You've shown some lovely examples. I do love a good glitzy heel, and of course you can't beat some sparkles. One always feels better with a bit of sparkle.

  10. I love these tips though I am having second thoughts on the shoes especially in this kind of weather so looking for something more closed than open.
