Afternoon Tea at The Crazy Bear

The bank holiday weekend for me meant seeing the university girls who I hadn't seen for months! We planned in advance to go to the crazy bear in Beaconsfield for afternoon tea as we had always wanted to experience the luxury of it. If you have never heard of the crazy bear they are a group of hotels (3 in total) that are known for their distinctive decor and luxury accommodation.

When you arrive you are greeted by a bear (not a real one of course) and just stepping inside it's like arriving in Narnia (not that I have ever been) - animal heads on the walls, chandeliers, regal looking furniture they have it all. Even the toilets were made up of mirrors! The décor definitely speaks for itself.

The afternoon tea menu is £30 each which is more than I would usually pay but I'm glad I got to experience it. You are served traditional sandwiches, scones, cakes and not forgetting the tea. I opted for the flowering jasmine and lily. I enjoyed the scones the most as I've always been a scone and tea kinda' girl.

Inside people were dressed rather glam but I opted for my comfy striped trousers/culottes from Matalan (£6), New Look cami, River Island sunglasses and La Redoute sandals. Who said casual dressing can't be glam?

Have you ever been to the crazy bear for afternoon tea or stayed in the hotel?
