May Fashion Bargains

May was a super busy month including not one, but two holidays consisting of the Dominican Republic and Cornwall, plus a trip to London to catch up with the university girls but I still managed to fit in some time for shopping... as always! I know we're nearly halfway through June, (2017 please slow down) but I really want to share what I bought in May including lots of fashion bargains from the high street and online.

Red Herring at Debenhams

As soon as I laid eyes on the watermelon print on this Red Herring dress (£21.75) I knew I had to have it! Since coming back from Dominican Republic I'm obsessed with tropical prints and the midi style with a twisted bow front, fit my petite frame perfectly. I know it's a dress I will be wearing all summer long.

La Redoute and Boohoo

Another print that I love at the moment is cactus's, they are everywhere right now; from home ware to our gardens and I can't get enough. These green cactus trousers (£15) from La Redoute are made for workwear with a white blouse and heels.

Another cute buy from La Redoute is this yellow striped tee (£13.00)  with the words Une Belle Journee meaning "a beautiful day". I love the striped print and the fit is super comfy tucked in belted jeans.

My final buy from La Redoute is these black snakeskin wedges (£35) which I bought for my holiday but they didn't arrive in time but no fear I have more opportunities to wear them in Ibiza and Barcelona. I love that they have a low wedge so I don't end up falling over and black goes with everything. I recently bought this off the shoulder pom pom dress (£6) from Boohoo which I thought would look great with them too.

Dorothy Perkins and Vero Moda

While I was in London catching up with my girlies, we booked a table at Pergola on the roof which is a pop up restaurant and bar in shepherds bush, I recommend going! It's set up with a tropical vibe so of course the floral comfy pants had to come out from Vero Moda with so many colours in the print, I kept it simple with a rust H&M vest and tan mules from Dorothy Perkins.

New Look and Topshop

You can always count on New Look to have some gorgeous pieces for Summer and at great prices too! This floral pleated cami was only £12.99 and the blue leather skirt £15! I had to get a choker to style with them both and I happened to pop in Topshop, which I rarely do, and this white one was just £3. I'm taking the skirt and choker to Ibiza with me in 2 weeks!

Salt Rock

These similar his and her hoodies are from a surfer brand called Saltrock down in Cornwall, we bought two for £35 because when we arrived it was a bit chilly on the beach and these kept us super warm. Read about my recent trip to Cornwall here.

Stradivarius

As soon as I saw the pretty lace, I had to snap up this off the shoulder blouse and at the bargain price of £9.99 too! I'm hoping Stradivarius will open a store nearer the midlands as I love their designs.

Did you buy anything nice in May?
