My Trip to Las Vegas

Just over 2 weeks ago me and the girls flew to Las Vegas for our best friends wedding! And to say it was the holiday of a lifetime is to say the least, I already want to book another flight.

We stayed at the Flamingo hotel on the 19th floor so we were lucky to have a beautiful view of the Bellagio fountains. This hotel is one of the cheapest on the Las Vegas strip but so central to get around. We loved it!

We arrived in Vegas late afternoon in style of course limousine anyone?!

For dinner we headed to Sushi Samba in the beautiful Venetian hotel having never tried Sushi I was excited and it didn't disappoint. Service was impeccable.

After I had booked happy hour on the high roller where unfortunately you don't get lots of drinks but the views make up for it!

The next morning we were up bright & early to go to the Grand Canyon. Something I have always dreamt of seeing and better than I had ever imagined. We booked this through Grand Canyon tours and had a great experience our pilot was lovely.

Later that morning we went to the Bellagio buffet which cost a reasonable $23.99 & we also explored the inside of this magnificent hotel. Outside was a beautiful Halloween Autumn theme.

We also explored more of the strip in the boiling heat stopping at the new york new york hotel which has a rollercoaster, which is terrifying, but worth it.

On the evening we went to the XS nightclub in the Wynn Encore where we met Rickey Fallon a promoter for the club who got us a booth with free drinks. The nightclubs out there are just something else and we partied gone past 4 lets just say the hangover was bad the next morning...

On the Tuesday we had a much-needed lie in and then went along to the Caesars Palace breakfast which was even better than the Bellagio one. They had a different area for every type of food.

Caesars palace was by far my favourite hotel - the shops, the decor and a cloud ceiling what more could you need oh wait a massive H&M.

Another Hen do was planned for the Tuesday evening and we went all out with sequins and sparkly dresses mine from H&M of course. Our pub crawl (as the English call it) started with a bit of gambling at our hotel (did you know you can get free drinks & just leave a tip for the waitress bargain) then we went to the Chandelier Bar in the Cosmopolitan Hotel and the Voodoo rooftop bar at the Rio which is off the strip a bit but the best nightclub I've ever been to.

On the Wednesday we visited Downtown Las Vegas including the Stratosphere and Fremont Street. It was like I had stepped back in time very strange but cool. They even have a zip line which I was not brave enough to go on.

For the wedding at the little white chapel I wore a beautiful V Label London gold and black dress (£18). If you have never heard of the brand before they are the sister label of Virgos Lounge (less pricier too).

I styled the dress with New Look heels £12 & Florence & Fred gold clutch £3.

The beautiful bride

Thursday we were heading home so we were slightly depressed. We had breakfast at the Mirage hotel and then we visited the Las Vegas sign which is off the strip so you have to get a taxi. A perfect end to an amazing holiday.

Have you ever been to Vegas?
