Living so close to the Cotswolds, I take every opportunity I can to visit one of the many pretty villages to take pictures, have a wander around and take in all the architecture. Every year near Broadway, the Cotswold Lavender fields opens up to the public for around a month so you can see the beauty of the lavender flowering. This year it is open from 22nd June - 26th July with a charge of £4.00 for Adults, £2.00 for Children under 15 yrs and children under 5 yrs go free. You can stay as long as you want and even take dogs and a picnic! There is plenty of space to social distance just make sure you get there early, so you don't have to queue too long.
For my day out at the Cotswolds Lavender, I wore this gorgeous purple / navy tie dye pleated midi dress to match the beautiful lavender by Blue Vanilla (£38). Being a midi style its perfect for my petite frame and it has a keyhole detail on the front and back plus a plaited tie fastening at the neck. The dress is of such a high quality and was so comfortable to wear even on a hot summers day! I'm thinking I could even wear this dress to a party or a wedding, paired with heels for more of a glam look.
