Being a fashion blogger, I have a long list of brands I want to work with including PrettyLittleThing, who have celebrity collaborations with the likes of Olivia Culpo and Kylie Jenner, so when I got the email asking if I wanted to collaborate with them you can imagine how I reacted! I couldn't stop smiling, my hard work blogging every week had really paid off. They kindly let me pick out three dresses from their new collection which is a difficult process for a girl who is dress obsessed as they have nearly 3000 to choose from, but I managed to narrow it down to these three beautiful dresses all under £50.
Mustard Floral Frill Dress Review
Two of the PLT dresses I chose were more suitable for going out, I wore the black embroidered for a charity ball I attended recently and the lace blue dress is perfect for my holiday to Portugal this week, keep an eye on my Instagram for my holiday spam!
I also wanted a new daytime dress after scrolling through endless photos of my favourite bloggers on Instagram rocking their dresses. The dress I had in mind was one suitable enough to wear to work but also something I could add some layers too, with tights, boots and a biker jacket. I ended up finding this stylish Mustard Floral Frill Mini Dress £28 which in my opinion, has autumn written all over it and has the colour of the moment: MUSTARD. Not only did I love the colour, but the blue and white floral print, (I'm mad about florals!) and the pretty frills along the hem and the sleeves.
Having shopped online at PrettyLittleThing numerous times, I know that I am a size 8 in their clothing and as usual the sizing was perfect. The dress was the right length for my petite frame and it fitted nicely around my waist and created a layer effect with the ruffles. The mustard dress also has a tie belt which you can tie numerous ways around the front or back. To finish off the Autumn look, I put on my long suede H&M boots which never go out of style.
With an autumn trend as gorgeous as this, I had to find an autumn backdrop for my photos which I'm surrounded by in my beautiful hometown of Stratford Upon Avon. The canal in particular goes on for miles which I love to walk along on weekends, it's so relaxing and peaceful.
