Beige & Burgundy

My shopping spree at La Redoute continues this time I bought a Les Petits Prix white motif tshirt which reminds me of a french person because of the obvious stripes and floppy hat.

I also bought this lovely winter beige and burgundy striped cardigan that is quite oversized perfect for throwing on. Burgundy can be quite an intense colour but by combining with the beige and white it tones the colour down.

Near where I live theres a pond with Pampas grass growing a great backdrop for blog photos I think it may be even taller than me doesn't take a lot at only 5ft2

Polka Dot & Check Scarf

Scarves are the ultimate accessory for winter and you can never have too many, have one for every outfit if you like. Designers have recently wanted to draw attention to the neck and they are a great replacement for jewellery too.

I was recently sent this beautiful polka dot and check navy scarf from Lylia Rose the pattern is on trend and it's so soft to touch. Unfortunately it is sold out now but Victoria uploads lots of new scarves constantly and at great bargains too ranging from £6-£12.99! Plus FREE 1st class delivery.

The online shop Lylia Rose not only sells scarves but there are a range of gifts, bags, jewellery and homeware that are just as beautiful.

To tie my scarf I have used the double wrap where you drape the scarf around your neck then wrap each end across the neck and shoulders then back around.

I have styled the scarf with a jumper dress from ASOS as my dress is quite plain the print compliments the burgundy colour but I would also wear it with my navy parka coat.

As this is quite a casual weekend look I paired it with my new lace high tops from Forever 21.
