April: What I Bought

This month I told myself repeatively I will not buy did it work? NO the shopaholic inside me was calling out plus April is my birthday month...

My first purchases of the month were from Primark.

Maxi Dress (£8)

Blue dress £10 - How amazing is the print?!

Blue crochet top (£4) an easy beach throw on with shorts

Of course I also bought from H&M as always my favourite shop! I had vouchers from my Birthday which did help.

This H&M Fringe Bag comes in 3 different colours but I chose tan as it goes with everything - I actually got £5 off aswell! All I need now is a boho white dress to complete the 70s look

Tropical Bikini (3.99 top and bottom) I'm hoping to wear in Newquay next week fingers crossed the weathers hot otherwise I have my girls holiday to VEGAS in October. I always get my swimwear from H&M as they fit perfectly and are high quality for that price.

Beige Chinos (£14.99) I've been after some chinos for a while which I wore the other day with my fringe top and espadrilles.

Joggers (£6) Comfy and a slim fit

Beige Twill Skirt which I'm going to wear with a denim shirt and my espadrilles and I can easily dress it up with a white shirt and wedges.

Espadrilles are a big trend for this season Instagram is going mad with them and these beauties are just a tiny £10 from Matalan.

What to expect from The Tweed Run, London

On Saturday I was invited by Pashley Cycles to the Tweed Run in London. The Tweed Run is a metropolitan bicycle ride with a bit of style riding around London passing the amazing landmarks and stopping for a tea break and picnic. Having never cycled on the road before I was a bit scared but the lovely marshals make sure you're safe from the crazy London drivers.

Stripes & Fringing

70s fashion is back and fringing is at the forefront of it so when I got this H&M white lace fringe crop top for my birthday it was love at first sight! The great thing about 70s is that there is so many ways to wear the trend from floaty maxi dresses to super size flairs and not forgetting the massive sunglasses.

H&M new campaign definitely channels the 70s vibe

This top comes in more colours too might have to buy all of them! Fringetastic!

I styled the top with Miss Selfridge skinny jeans (my fav) & Dorothy Perkins Striped Sandals which I got in there sale for just £9 I do love there constant bargains!

Birthday Weekend

Turning 23 on a bank holiday pretty much meant I got a 4 day birthday! Lucky me! First I went on my first bike ride in a long time (you never forget) on a beautiful Pashley Princess bike as my boyfriend works for them which was so much fun & hard work my legs were killing ha. If you want a bike that's fashionable but classic and will last you a long time there the one! They even have a bell and a basket.

(Trying not to fall off)

I'm practising for a tweed run that happens in London soon!

On Friday evening we went for a meal at an Italian local to Stratford called Il Moro for the occasion I wore New look Monochrome trousers (£5) with a Miss Selfridge Blouse (£12) & a TK Maxx Pink Jacket (£10) SALE BARGAINS!

I felt very sophisticated & grown up in this outfit

On my actual birthday we went to London to Buckingham palace where we got to watch the changing of the guards & then we went to the beautiful Harrods. I hadn't been since I was young so was nice to experience the shop of dreams again. I had to get a yummy cupcake while there.

In the afternoon we went for a lovely meal at Gibsons on the Yacht overlooking the Thames.

I wore my pink jacket again this time over a Influence floral dress that I also got from Tk Maxx for just £7!

My boyfriend bought me some New Balance trainers so I can start getting fit for the Summer & a bottle of wine with my name on it!

Happy Easter!
